Madd Gear are one of the top stunt scooter brands in the country right now. After starting out in Australia they have now clocked up over 10 years of experience in scooter design and with a Professional team of riders performing tricks and stunts in competitions worldwide they really know what is required when it comes to creating a top class scooter. Madd Gear scooters have a wide range of scooters so should have one to fit your needs and requirements.

Slamm Scooters are British made and are a brand we can be proud of. Although they have less scooters in their range, the three key models they currently produce will easily stand up to the pace in any skate park. If you are thinking of customising your scooter then Slamm also make a really good range of scooter accessories including clamps and grips. This is a good way to make your scooter stand out from the crowd and if you add a set of Slamm wheels too you will have a ride to be really proud of.

So having concluded that Madd Gear and Slamm both make great stunt scooters, which should you buy? This really depends on what you are looking for from your scooter. Slamm scooters are generally more reasonably priced and offer great value for money so if this is your first stunt scooter or you are not buying a scooter solely for pulling tricks then Slamm might be the better choice for you. With Madd Gear, on the other hand, I believe you get what you pay for. For the extra cash you in turn receive a really high quality scooter with the best components and this can really make the difference in giving you the confidence you need when attempting serious stunts.

The Slamm Rage II Scooter is the lowest price scooter that Slamm make. This is a really popular scooter and great value for money. It comes with reinforced forks and a triple stacked collar clamp. The brake is really efficient on this model so be careful not to over use it or you will be needing a new back wheel! The Outbreak is the next model up and has an 18 inch T bar with 21 inch steering tube. The Slamm Pro Stunt scooter is the top model made by Slam scooters and has a slightly longer deck then the Outbreak and also comes with core 100mm wheels.

For the most awesome scooters Madd Gear Pro make look no further than the Ninja and Nitro. Although these two scooter retail at around £200 they have some outstanding features. Both have much sought after Blade Core wheels with Krunk K-2 bearings. With one piece bat wing handle bars made from chromoly they also have BAMF rig grips with alloy end bars and are finished with BAMF Pro grip tape. A krunk sealed headset also comes as standard. The Ninja has a slight lighter frame and matt black paint. The Madd Gear Team Edition and Madd Gear Base may be cheaper but are still serious stunt scooters. With triple collar clamps on these models you pay a little more for the Team edition which has superior wheels and bearings. Finally Madd Gear have now produced the MGP Mini scooter which is suitable for 5 years olds. With its reinforced deck and patented quick stop brake your little one will be wanting to learn tricks with the big boys as soon as he jumps on board!
